The route is one of our new shorter walks created following requests from users of Hertfordshire Walker for routes that are less than five miles long. There is a cafe at the start and finish point and a pub close by.
A great walk from Tewin across rolling countryside with wonderful views on all sides. The route heads down to the Mimram Valley then returns to Tewin through some lovely woodland. This walk includes part of the route for Walk 45: The Tewin West East Loop but heads down to the River Mimram instead of crossing the fields.
This is a pleasant circular walk from the village of Tewin following good paths throughout. It goes through woodland, crosses open farmland, and involves quite a bit of up and down. There is a pub at the start and finish point and a cafe close by.
