If you want to search for a particular town, village, or hamlet, please use the search function below. After you enter the name and press the 'search' button you will be shown a list of our walks that mention the place you are looking for.
If you are searching for a particular pub we have
a page listing all the pubs that our walks pass by or are accessible with a short detour.
Searching on the walk number is fine if it is 3 digits but not 2. Is there another way please?
ReplyDeleteHi, If you enter any walk number in the search box, whether it's single, double, or triple-digit the walk will be always be found and will appear in a long list of walks that also contain that number, whether it refers to distance, altitude, or a right of way. That is why three digit numbers have a better chance of returning exact results. So using the search box to find walk numbers will always work, but it's not the best way. The best way is to go to the All Walks page ...

... then click on the link in the first paragraph which reads "There is also a list of all the walks at the bottom of this page" which will take you to the list...

... then scroll down to find the number of the walk you want. I hope this helps.
