I'll put a few photos on the Facebook group. I started on the Munden Estate so I stayed that side the whole time as couldn't get across to Aldenham without a huge detour. If you haven't already done so, and if you are on Facebook, please consider joining our members-only Facebook group where fellow walkers are sharing photos and updates on the walks they are doing. <br />https://www.facebook.com/groups/hertfordshirewalkerbrewerukhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13449727123903424041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1648587423460241493.post-16347263729807377962023-07-23T15:46:36.703+01:002023-07-23T15:46:36.703+01:00We have done this walk lots of times in all seaons...We have done this walk lots of times in all seaons and have often had to alter the route because of flooding. Today was fine although it was a bit muddy along some parts and a bit wet after the rain when you brush pass the long grass or nettles. Saw lots of horses, butterflies and birds along the way. When we walked through the Munden estate we hardly saw a soul and had the place to ourselves. Passed the spot on the river where I have had a paddle in the past but not warm enough today. Easier to park up the hill on the road past the start of the walk (opposite direction from the church) because its always busy round the church for parking on a Sunday morning. Not tried the Round Bush which you show on the map but drove into Radlett which has a lot of choice for coffee or more. This walk is still one of our favourites.Deborahnoreply@blogger.com
